What are EvoSkulls?

You don't know what an EvoSkull is?!? Here we have listed all that we know!

EvoSkulls are a collection of Unique, Animated, 1/1 NFTs on the Cronos blockchain. The collection consists of 333 Super-rare Skulls, all 1/1.

Each EvoSkull has a custom made unique animation, body, hat, face and outfit. They are all handmade by our mad and beloved Dr. Jiko.

How do I get an EvoSkull?

EvoSkull as suggest the name is the evolution of a normal CroSkull. This process is done through using your CroSkull as well as a Purple Potion together.

Purple Potion can be obtain by merging 1 Blue and 1 Red potion inside the Laboratory section of the Dapp. Here're some useful details about Potions:

  • The Blue, Red potion had a total supply of 333 each, which could be merged together into a Purple potions. The potions are burned upon use.

  • Blue and Red potions were airdropped for free to the CroSkulls Holders

By setting the Purple Potion on fire on a CroSkull, you will be able to summon a powerful and rare EvoSkull. In the process, the purple potion is burned while the CroSkull NFT does not, so you get to keep it after the process!

What can EvoSkulls do?

An EvoSkull generates more $GRVE than a CroSkull. EvoSkulls can claim 9 $GRVE daily. These are not compounded over multiple days, so it's important to claim everyday. (Any unclaimed $GRVE is burned at the end of each season).

Remember to claim everyday to increase your Grave yield!

They also have on-chain stats, which gives them the ability to do missions. These are only the EvoSkulls and pets that can do.

EvoSkulls stores their stats on-chain, this means that these data can be used by our smart contracts for the mission systems and future player vs player activities.

EvoSkulls On-Chain Stats

When summoned, every EvoSkulls starts with all stats equal to 5, except the Charisma, that will be a random value between 0 an 4.

Stats are required to participate in the Missions. EvoSkulls generally have higher stats than the pets. These stats can be affected by Malus after missions/battles, which can temporarily reduce them until cured for the Malus.

EvoSkulls stats increase with leveling, each stat increases by 1 each level, until level 10.

EvoSkulls Grades

EvoSkulls Grade is based on the total power value. This power is the sum of all the stat numbers combined.

Since the Grade is calculated based on the total power, if your EvoSkull has Sad Malus, the final grade is directly affected. Decreasing the total power and possibly grade as well.

EvoSkulls can be have 4 differents Grades:

EvoSkull Level System

Every EvoSkulls start from level 0 when they are summoned. Through the use of $SLS or sending you EvoSkulls on missions you can increase their experience points. Once you have reached the needed amount of experience points for your level, you can level up your EvoSkull using the level up requirement cost for that level with $RUDE.

Each level requires higher amount of both $SLS and $RUDE, meaning leveling up will get more challenging each level! Your EvoSkulls stats affect the outcome of battles and allow you to do missions, raids (coming in the future) and dungeons (coming in the future) where the more difficult missions gives you higher rewards, but also requires higher stats and level to accomplish.

EvoSkull Stamina System

When EvoSkulls are summoned, they start with 10 Max Stamina. Each time you upgrade your EvoSkull, the max stamina will increase by 1 point. (es: Level 5 Evo has 10 + 5 = 15 max Stamina).

Every PVP Battle or Mission will require and consume 1 Stamina, plus during the PVP battles, 1 of the 2 players can receive a Malus, if your skull is affected by "Hungry" Malus, max stamina will remain the same but the current available stamina will be decreased by 5. If current (available) stamina is lower or equal to 5, stamina will become 0.

Every 2400 blocks (currently roughly equal to 4 hours ) a stamina block is automatically restored, this restore is cumulative, so if you wait until 24000 blocks (40 hours) have passed, you can estimate that 10 stamina points have been restored.

To perform PVP (battles) or PVE (missions):

  • Current stamina must be equal or greater than 1,

  • Current block must be greater than the evo unfreeze block

Ex: EvoSkull at level 5 with 15 max stamina and current stamina to 7, if affected by Hungry the current stamina will be 7 - 5 = 2.
